Workforce Partnership Presents to EDC

The topic for the October EDC monthly luncheon was the Kansas Workforce Partnership. The group talked about its recent office makeovers in Overland Park and Kansas City. It also has an office in Leavenworth. While the Workforce Partnership helps people find jobs, the organization also works with area companies to facilitate the job search process. 

One of the ways the organization helps area businesses is with its new mobile unit. The converted RV houses 13 computers that are internet accessible as well as two 42 inch plasma smart boards.The mobile unit is great for job fairs, job training and other funtions in the recruiting process. All of the services the organization offers are free of charge.
